Overlooking the St Vincent Gulf, built around a large sandy beach, one of the safest on the peninsula. Coobowie is becoming increasingly popular with holiday makers.
Surrounding the township is some spectacular coastal scenery, with rugged cliffs and white sandy beaches. Coobowie is very central to all peninsula landmark towns offering visitors fishing, history, relaxation, BBQs, walking trails to Edithburgh, swimming and much more. Coobowie boasts a wonderful bird hide situated on the estuary in the township.
Opposite the hotel there is a magnificent playground which includes electric barbeques and a sheltered area for picnics.
